Comparative Digital Politics and Democratization

The project on Comparative Digital Politics and Democratization surveys the broad intersection of information-communication technologies (ICT) infrastructure adoption and long-term processes of democratization, and in particular the impact of digital media use on political change in developing states. Our research is based at the University of Michigan‘s Department of Communication Studies, and housed at the Institute for Social Research‘s Center for Political Studies. Any opinions, findings, and conclusions or recommendations expressed in this material are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of supporting and sponsoring organizations.
