About

Barbara Opal is a Senior Secretary. She has been at the Center for Political Studies since 1972. In her spare time, Barbara enjoys playing in charity poker tournaments. She lives with her husband and two adorable miniature rescue dachshunds in Ann Arbor.

Barbara assists the faculty and staff with domestic and international travel. She assists international visitors with their orientation to the University and Ann Arbor. She is responsible for event planning for the Center’s seminars and annual lectures.
