Linda Kimmel is a Senior Research Area Specialist in CPS. She has been at U-M since 2010. Linda received her Ph.D. in Political Science from Northern Illinois University, and her current research interests include public opinion regarding education and health policy, political socialization, and gender differences particularly those related to career and educational aspirations. In addition, she is a broadly trained methodologist in a variety of statistical methods as well as survey methodology.
In her spare time, Linda practices yoga and is involved with various literary groups in Ann Arbor, and serves as a docent for the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology.
