Converse Miller Fellowship Fund – 731531

CPS Summer Research Fellowship was established to honor Philip Converse and Warren Miller’s distinguished contributions to the study of American politics, public opinion, and voting behavior, as well as the study of the concept of representation.
CPS Director Discretionary Gift Fund – 310141

This fund provides the Center and its director with resources to face difficult challenges and exciting opportunities, such as seed funding for a faculty research project and travel money for outstanding graduate students.
The Ronald F. Inglehart Scholarship Fund – 701907

Created in memory of pioneering CPS scholar and mentor, Ronald F. Inglehart, this fund supports research and travel by early career scholars to study comparative politics, with a preference for graduate students traveling internationally.
ISR Miller-Converse Lecture – 305779

The University’s preeminent lecture series on American Electoral Politics honors CPS luminaries Warren Miller and Philip Converse.
ISR Next Generation Initiative Endowed Fund ‑ 702939

This fund supports graduate and postdoctoral students and early career faculty who are working with ISR researchers to carry out innovative research in the social sciences.
CPS Harold Jacobson Lecture in International Law – 307003

The Lecture was established to honor late CPS director Harold “Jake” Jacobson and his contributions to the study of international and environmental law and foreign policy.
ISR Next Generation Initiative Endowed Fund ‑ 702939

The fund provides summer research funding to students in the Center for Political Studies doing quantitative research in international politics or political development. Created to honor A. F. K. Organski, distinguished scholar and beloved teacher.
Roy Pierce Scholars Fund – 571735

CPS Summer Research Fellowship that honors late CPS scholar Roy Pierce and provides summer support for graduate students working with CPS Faculty.
Rosemary Sarri Family Fellowship – 799028

The Sarri Family Fellowship supports a graduate student or post-doctoral fellow at U-M to do social science research on improving the chances for low income students to attend and succeed in post-secondary educational institutions.
Garth Taylor Dissertation Fellowship in Public Opinion Research Fund – 322443

The Garth Taylor Dissertation Fellowship in Public Opinion will support a doctoral student at the University of Michigan who is completing his or her dissertation on a topic related to the quantitative study of public opinion.

The Tessler Fellows Fund supports a graduate student in Political Science at the University of Michigan who is being mentored by CPS faculty, with preference for those who study comparative politics and need funding for fieldwork and data collection.
Hanes Walton, Jr. Endowment for Graduate Study in Racial and Ethnic Politics – 731994

This endowed fund honors Hanes’s 45 years of scholarship, teaching, and mentoring. The award provides funds for graduate students studying the politics of race and ethnicity in the Center for Political Studies.
